Dpuk Translation 2024

Dementias Platform UK is hosting its 2nd conference focused on translation in dementia. TRANSLATION 2024 will range across all aspects of translational dementia research, bringing it all together at a single event. The conference is taking place on 18-19 April at the Congress Centre, adjacent to the British Museum in central London.

There are sessions on Biomarkers, Trials Delivery and Big Data. Biomarkers have really changed dementia research and opened up new areas of study. Big Data is playing a fundamental role in shaping future research; Efficient Trials Delivery is quickening the pace of translation from discoveries to therapies. Together they are enabling the kind of discoveries unthinkable in the very recent past.

Keynote speakers include: Prof David Bennett on the challenges of working with complex data (Rush University, USA); Hilary Evans on the emerging landscape in dementia research (Co-Chair, Barbara Windsor Mission); Prof Charlotte Teunissen on blood biomarkers, (Amsterdam UMC).

Delegates from across the UK and internationally (from academia, industry, the third sector and government) are welcome. There are 250 places available.
