Electrophysiology with Neuropixels, two-photon and wide-field calcium imaging and functional ultrasound imaging

Friday Forum Header

The UK DRI Friday Forum is a series featuring informal workshops/presentations/Q&A/discussions on various topics ranging from grant writing, research translation to hot science!

A beginner’s guide to large-scale neuronal recordings in vivo

This webinar will provide researchers with little to no experience in systems neuroscience a flavour of the cutting-edge techniques used to simultaneously record from large neuronal populations and/or multiple brain areas.

Large-scale neuronal recordings in vivo: a beginner’s guide to electrophysiology with Neuropixels, two-photon and wide-field calcium imaging and functional ultrasound imaging.

Speakers include:

•   Dr Andrew Peters (UCL) - Neuropixel/wide-field imaging
•   Dr L. Federico Rossi (UCL) - two-photon imaging
•   Dr Anwar O. Nunez-Elizalde (UCL) - functional ultrasound imaging

Friday 31 July, 12:00 - 13:00 BST

This event is open to UK DRI researchers and support staff only. Registration and associated Zoom links will be distributed via Centre Manager emails nearer the time of the event.
