UK DRI Operations Manager
Roles & Responsibilities: responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the UK DRI central team, coordinating group of administrators that support central team activities, overseeing conferences and events.
Emilia joined the UK DRI in September 2019 following just over two years as part of the London Health team at Mytime Active. In this varied role, Emilia coordinated the administration of several community based healthy lifestyle programmes.
Emilia completed her MA in English & Creative Writing from the University of Windsor in Ontario, Canada. In 2018 she published a book of poetry titled Paper Caskets through Newest Press. Her areas of interest include memento mori, post mortem photography, curiosities, and how these are translated onto the written page.
Outside of words, Emilia loves getting lost in video games, fan-girling over e-sports, hosting board game nights, and sipping tea through a straw. She has never met an escape room she couldn’t complete (except the one in Majorca, which she chooses to ignore).
