Biography

I’m a PhD student at the Cardiff UK DRI in the Escott-Price Lab, working at the intersection of dementia and psychosis. I focus on unravelling shared genetic architecture and identifying drug targets by developing in-silico approaches, including nf-core pipelines and machine learning using multi-omics data, including genomics (GWAS and WGS), bulk and single-cell transcriptomics, and CSF and plasma proteomics.

I not only focus on scientific discovery, but also on the engineering side, developing production-ready data pipelines within hybrid AWS/GCP environments that are both scientifically rigorous and engineered to scale.
