Here members will find instructions on how to log in to the UK DRI's intranet (The Portal) and Research Collaboration Services - complementary software platforms Slack (Plus subscription), Dropbox (Business advanced licence), Zoom (Pro licence), Labstep and Wiki offered by the UK DRI. Together these platforms provide UK DRI members with the means to easily store and share data, and communicate with colleagues across the institute.
Logging into the UK DRI Portal and Research Collaboration Services
When joining the UK DRI, members are issued a UK DRI email address (i.e. firstname.lastname@ukdri.ac.uk) which is used to access these platforms via a single sign on (SSO), and additionally forwards emails to the member's host university email inbox when utilised.
Links to all the platforms are as follows:
- Portal (UK DRI Intranet - fundings, events, templates, etc)
- Slack (message platform)
- Dropbox (file storage)
- Zoom (video conferencing)
- Labstep (digital lab book)
- Wiki (member resource sharing)
If you are new to the Research Collaboration services or need to change accounts, please find information in the 'Getting started' guide. Please note that the SSO uses Microscoft Azure so you will have to log out of your current university account online before logging in with UK DRI credentials.
