Biography
Role/Responsibilities: Communicating the UK DRI’s strategic priorities to policymakers across the UK, including engaging with the Government, parliamentarians, and life sciences sector to maximise the visibility, reputation and impact of UK DRI research.
Jake joined UK DRI in November 2024 from the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), where he led engagement with the four UK governments and briefed policymakers on changes to workforce education and standards.
Jake has a degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Birmingham. Prior to the NMC, he worked in public affairs roles at Macmillan Cancer Support and the British Red Cross.
