Biography

Dr. Youssef Hbid is a Research Associate in Data Science and Biostatistics at Imperial College London, working with the UK Dementia Research Institute Care Research & Technology Centre and the School of Public Health to advance dementia care through data-driven methods. He previously worked at King’s College London within the Sentinel Stroke National Audit Program (SSNAP), where he contributed to improving stroke care standards across the UK through data analytics and quality assessments, and now continues as a visiting Research Associate. Holding a PhD in Applied Mathematics and Biostatistics (Paris-Sorbonne University & Cadi Ayyad University, 2021). His expertise spans statistics, machine learning, mathematical modelling, and the epidemiology of long-term conditions, with a focus on predictive medicine, pharmacoepidemiology, drug repurposing, and the emulation of targeted trials.
