Biography
Anna is a PhD student investigating the co-proteinopathy landscape in neurodegenerative diseases. She works with post-mortem human brain tissue and single-molecule microscopy techniques to study proteins aggregates of tau, alpha-synuclein, amyloid-beta and TDP-43, currently in Parkinson's disease and Parkinson's disease with dementia brains.
Anna completed an integrated Master’s degree in Physics (MPhys) at the University of St Andrews in Scotland, graduating with first-class honours.
Outside the lab, she is a yoga and pilates teacher and enjoys trying new sports and volunteering.
