World Parkinson’s Day showcase from the UK DRI at Cardiff University

The UK DRI at Cardiff is delighted to welcome members of the public to a showcase event for World Parkinson’s Day 2022.

This event, aimed at people interested in Parkinson’s disease research, will be a chance to hear from scientists investigating the causes of the condition through the latest cutting-edge research in this field.

The virtual portion of this event will run 12:00-13:00 BST. It will include a series of short showcase talks from the scientists discussing how they are using innovative stem cell and fly models to study Parkinson’s disease, and their progress in blood biomarkers analysis. There will be a chance to ask questions in the virtual chat.
