Biography
Roles & responsibilities: digital platforms and channels (e.g. website, portal, social media, newsletters, bulletins), branding, digital content creation (graphics, video, photography), digital analytics and digital accessibility.
Michelle joined the UK DRI in November 2024, after two years at UCL, working in the Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering, and Computer Science departments. Working within the departmental Communications teams at UCL, Michelle’s responsibilities included website management, social media, press releases, digital content creation, and student recruitment.
Michelle has a BA (Hons) in English and Media, a master’s in Digital Media, and a master’s module in Science Communication. Before moving to science communications, she was an A Level Media and Film teacher for 16 years in a sixth form college. Michelle is interested in storytelling through film and audio and is excited about working with researchers and colleagues across the UK DRI.
