Biography
Roles & Responsibilities: Support translational research and innovation, collaborate and partner with organisations and industries; manage the strategic partnerships key funders and manage funded portfolio projects, responsible for translational research call.
Jiafeng joined the UK DRI in February 2025. She was working as Translational Research and Funding Development Manager at the University of Liverpool, supported academics in research translation, leveraging follow-on funds, connecting with research support services, industry partners, charities. Prior to that, she managed an NIHR-funded research programme Cardiovascular MedTech Cooperative at the Guy's and St Thomas Hospital, King's College London.
Jiafeng holds a BEng in Biomaterials Sciences and Tissue Engineering and PhD in Neuroscience. She is currently studying an Executive Master of Business Administration specialised in Innovation.
