Principal Research Fellow

Co-leading the UK DRI Biomarker Factory platform based at UK DRI at UCL

Biography

Dr. Amanda Heslegrave is Principal Research Fellow at the UK DRI at UCL, where she co-leads the fluid biomarker (Zetterberg) laboratory and the UK DRI Biomarker Factory. After completing her BSc from Birkbeck, University of London (2000) and PhD from UCL (2005), she transitioned to biomarker research in 2012 with Prof Henrik Zetterberg at UCL. Her research focuses on fluid biomarkers in CSF and blood, utilising immunoassay and proteomic methods to study neurodegenerative diseases.
