Biography
I am an early-career clinical researcher with a background in neuroscience and public health, currently undertaking PhD studies at the UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology. My research integrates large-scale proteomics with life-course exposure data from the MRC National Survey of Health and Development - the world’s oldest continuously followed birth cohort - to identify molecular signatures of biological ageing associated with disease vulnerability, including Alzheimer’s disease.
I qualified from UCL Medical School in 2019 with Distinction in Medical Sciences. En route, I completed a Neuroscience BSc at UCL in 2016 with First Class Honours and Dean's List Commendation. After completing a London-based Foundation Training, I obtained Master of Public Health from Harvard University in May 2022.
My interest in clinical neurology then led me to the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, London, where from February 2023 I have worked as a Clinical Research Fellow on the Insight 46 research team at the Dementia Research Centre under the supervision of Prof. Jonathan Schott. I began PhD studies in September 2023, obtaining an Alzheimer's Research UK (ARUK) Clinical Research Training Fellowship. In Spring 2025, I was a Visiting Researcher at Prof. Tony Wyss-Coray's laboratory in Stanford University.
