The UK DRI has a strong relationship with Parkinson’s UK. Parkinson’s UK has worked with several UK DRI researchers to bring together people with lived experience of Parkinson's and people researching the condition. The UK DRI Parkinson's thematic network also has a partnership with Parkinson’s UK to co-organise an annual in-person event for Group Leaders working in Parkinson's.
The network has partnered with Aligning Science Across Parkinson's (ASAP) to co-organise events for ECRs. We held our first joint event in April 2024, which was attended by nearly 100 ECRs.
