The UK DRI is proud to have a long running strategic partnership with the Dementia Platforms UK’s (DPUK) Vascular Experimental Heath Group, led by Atticus Hainsworth, since late July 2020 and has organised several joint meetings.
A formal partnership with the British Heart Foundation (BHF) was established in November 2023, with exciting news of the launch of the BHF-UK DRI Centre for Vascular Dementia Research - the UK’s flagship investment for vascular dementia research, uniting leading researchers from around the world under a single virtual ‘roof’.
Through network members Dr Barry McColl and Prof Joanna Wardlaw, the vascular theme also has strong connections with Leducq Foundation and through Prof Caleb Webber, IMI IM2PACT.
